Mastopexy, or breast lift, is a procedure that elevates the sagging breast, and moves the nipple/areola to a more natural position. There is no loss of breast sensation, however, the resulting scars may not be completely hidden

This patient had so little breast tissue that she required augmentation with an implant as well as a lift. The after picture was taken approximately two weeks after surgery to show the incision lines required to shape the breast. At this stage, there is considerable swelling, but the scars at the base of the breast will eventually fall into the natural crease. Although the scars may fade, each patient heals in an individual way
